Northside Industries, an industry leader in the manufacturing and assembly of a variety of steel and aluminum fabrications for the Oil and Gas, Forestry, Heavy Duty Truck, and Mining sectors is seeking a full-time Production Workers for its West Kelowna, BC location.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Production Manager, duties may include:

  • Loading and un-loading equipment
  • Material handling
  • Operating machines such as drill presses, sanders, metal saws, etc.
  • Supporting machine operators
  • Measuring and inspecting parts
  • Using basic hand tools to carry out grinding/deburring activities
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
  • Following safety standards and guidelines
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High attention to detail
  • Proven team player
  • Strong work ethic
  • Familiar with basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Forklift experience/certificate an asset
  • 1+ years of experience operating hand and power tools an asset

Note: Experience is not required to be considered for this position but is an asset.

Benefits

Wage: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.
